Pokemon who are too good for OU but average in Ubers deserve a tier where they can shine as well and the only reason that Smogon is against dividing the tier is because it might "affect" the precious popularity of OU.

Defensive Lando and a shitload of new U-Turners like Tapu Koko, and Greninja, which didn't commonly run the move before Gen VII. Plus it has a hard time against all the latest Megas (Swampert, Lopunny, Medicham, SD Mawile, and Manectric to some extent with Volt Switch chip damage.

Because almost nothing in the tier can take two neutral specs attack from this fucking frog. It has the best coverage in the entire tier.

And to give people some perspective on this piece of shit that should be banned; with Choice Specs, it has a higher special attack stat than Medichan's attack stat which was the highest unboosted offensive stat in the tier - it reaches almost 700 special attack (667.5). And this is all without mentioning the fact that it has the strongest priority move in the game.

They're probably going to suspect test Arena Trap (not Dugtrio, people actually used Diglett stall during that test and it worked the absolute madmen) but not before getting rid of other things like Greninja. Good thing too, Dugtrio is cancer on a lot of things, including but not limited to stall.
