Rather than wanting and wishing and whining, let's focus on what Sun and Moon have done right :)

For me, I'd say:
Removing HMs.
Letting me take the hat off.
Pokédex updates after evolution.
Alola Forms were a great way to spice up forgotten mons, also adding an intriguing and fun slice of lore to the Pokémon universe.
Making the effort to change the gym system.
Challenging 2v1 Totem battles.
Bringing back Gen 5 exp yield.
Some great new Pokémon designs.
