My character from my PTU campaign, Arthur, drawn by a friend. Like any other trainer, except he's real fascinated by the mythology of the land and is following the old pilgrimages more devotedly. Wants to get tough because he's troubled that he has no idea what he wants to achieve as a trainer, while his best friend/crush is a embarking on a fulfilling Ranger career.
Starter is a Froakie that shares his desire to explore the world and similarly troubled by its own lack of direction. They met in their hometown, an island that hosts a lot of water-pokemon based culture.
I could talk more about the setting if someone's interested.
>>32981941Whatever won't break suspension of disbelief. IMO it's almost always a bad idea to try and slot into an existing story like that of the games. Use the setting maybe, but make an ew story.

>>32982055Give each character a colour theme. I was too cheap to pay my friend for colour and also because I couldn't decide at the time, but Arthur, being water-associated, would use blue, black, white and other cooler tones.
>>32982073Super cute
I feel like trainer colour schemes should match their main mons though, she could use more red
>>32982792I also had an idea for an exorcist/medium ghost trainer who is training in the rituals of Pokemon as nature spirits. I can't decided if it will be a boy or a girl, but one thing I really wanted was to have their ace as either a Gastly who would live inside their body and emerge in a pretty frightening spectacle that would become a a Gengar who lived in their shadow, or a Chandelure to burn away souls that can't be rehabilitated.
>>32983017Show the region map! you can use the IRL parts of Honshu between Kansai (IRL Johto) and Kyushu (IRL Hoenn)
I could also post my region map if anyone's interested.
Maybe organize a RP
