>>33012405The thing is when they finally make a great game again that's when people will start to feel that way and they won't buy it, so Gamefreak will think that people skipped it because it was too good. So they'll shit it up again for the next generation and when everyone surges to that after hearing how the last one was good, they turn away when it's shit.
If you look at the sales for each game and realize that the sales of a game was due to the success of the previous one, suddenly it all makes sense.
Just buy it if you feel it's worth it or skip it if you don't feel it's worth it.
