This. I don't understand why people want remakes of old games, why not look for brand new, fresh games? It's not like the remakes are going to be good anyway given Gamefreak's recent track record and Sinnoh being a generally subpar region in general.

when people complain about gen I all they ever mention is shitty graphs, glitches, broken mechanics & lack of story, the remake addresses this by fixing the mechanics, glitches, updating the graphics and the addition of more storyline, when done right, remakes are the best thing that could happen to a videogame.

They removed because of the letter seals and in traditional gamefreak style rather than fix the fucking problem, "problem" you couldn't use them online anyway, they just flat out removed it. Was the game corner in ORAS? No, it wasn't, in any capacity. Not even just a mini arcade or some shit with minigames. Just a sign that says "fuck you loser".

HGSS are good remakes but they fucked up by not fixing the postgame levels which was an issue back in gen 2, the two bigger issues with DP are the dex and the HM shit with the later being possibly fixed if they bring back the mechanic from SM

My point is that if they go for accuracy the remakes can end up being shit
