Midevos that aren't starters are always ignored. It's especially bad when they're revealed after the other 2 stages (well sort of, we saw the toucan shirt way before the demo leak).

Things like Lampent and Eelektrik have it even worse because you usually have the stone you need to evolve them again as soon as you evolve them from their base form, so you barely get to use them in their mid-form at all.

Because it's ugly (not a bad thing for me, monsters should be ugly but it's obviously not as mass appealing as Charizard/Blastoise). Even Sugimori has said it's his most regretted design.

Nuzleaf is cool as hell and fans remember it because of the nuzlocke

The most forgotten one imo is Klang. It has never even been on an anime episode and his evo is shite.

I like it much more than kklang. I also like Vanillish better than uxe
