Overall, I like the games in general for example, but each game has more that needs fixing with S/M being the worst example so far.
Mostly because they keep removing things that should remain options for people who like them.
It's not an argument to say "kids don't want the Battle Frontier" when even if it were true (it's not, I loved that shit straight from Crystal and 14 would be considered a child to most people) it's not only kids playing.
People who like super/contests, or the frontier, or triple battles, or rotation battles, or use of the Dpad, or Pokéstar studios, or (the garbage in my opinion that is) musicals, or the PWT, or Pokéathlon, etc., etc. should be able to enjoy the new games as much as the last, but they can't because they keep removing shit for no good reason instead of leaving them in as options.
Even if they don't want to take the time to update each one every time, fine, but it should be there at least for those who want it... For some they may not even want updates, just using the new Pokémon available would be enough.
So yeah... People may like the games overall but you're incorrectly conflating overall liking something with there being no issues with it. Don't be dense.
