Fix everything that was broken with the region's areas- lack of golf course, can't enter lighthouse, can't explore the 2 big hotels, can't sit, can hardly interact with objects, can't see TV channels, can't enter half the buildings in the already small towns. FINISH THE EMPTY LOTS.
Better pokemon distribution and overall type distribution. Doing a nuzlocke with gen7 only is so lacking...everywhere you go it's the same pokemon and they're hardly alolan. What are ice and dark types even? (non-alolan forms of these types hardly exist)
Hard mode, national dex, PSS, dex nav, improve plaza, make pokefinder meaningful and get rid of the ugly ride outfits and shitty ride bgm
Obviously better plot and postgame. Better facility than a reskinned battle tower with previous game characters

Ohyea, also stop shafting potential dungeon areas like the volcano or the way to the ele trial observatory ..or those circular pools. I guess being able to explore the ocean between islands is also good. Make alolan neck island relevant and make it inhabited together with poni (build a town or 2 there in addition to what they already have)
All that said, I am aware that probably only like 10% of all that is actually gonna happen..Oh well, hope is last to die
