At this point I would actually rather have Ohmura doing the character art. Never thought I'd say that.

I hope the gen 8 protags aren't stupidly edgy, or have a completely removed art style because of the move to the switch

the girls is wearing the same clothes that serena does but she also has a corset on top of her shirt, but now that i look closer, i realize the artist kinda fucked up the girl's right tiddy, she has a line on her chest that shouldn't be there, it makes her right breast look wrong, also her hat looks kinda badly added, like the artist just slapped it into the drawing and call it a day

The guy's design uys are least cohesive, dumb but cohesive.
The girl's design is all over the fucking place.

It's like they tried to incorporate elements from all the existing female protagonists but only ones that made no sense together.

But I was saying I'd rather have him do the designs than whoever did the fan art in op's pic. It has nothing to do with who's still working for gamefreak currently. I disliked Ohmura's art style but would take it in a heart beat over this "official artists" work.

They look like they're in different art styles from one another. Not particularly eye-catching either.
