I'm personally going to wait on making a team until USUM is released. Much like BW2, the Pokedex for USUM will probably be expanded, so I want to wait and see on what I can catch instead of making a team so soon.

My team will depend on whether there will be new alolan forms but if there aren't, then gonna go with things i haven't used before in SM

Female protag since I don't like playing as the opposite gender
Eviolite firecat that will never evolve
Gonna hope Ghost oricorio is available earlier on, if not, probably have help from a friend with trading a nectar for it

when I used vikavolt while having a grass and/or flying type, it happened so that I hardly ever needed to use vikavolt since other pokemon did everything it could do, but better

If there's nothing new, I'll try some Gen 7 I didn't use in Moon like Alolan Exeggutor, Toxapex, Mimikyu, Bewear, Araquanid, Shiinotic, Oricorio, Passimian, Golisopod, Palossand, Turtonator, or Kommo-o.

I actually never bought sun and might pick it up before I buy USUM.
Don't know how good any of the latest pokemon are, but looking at the pokedex, I'm considering these.

So far, my main team for my main physical copy of US is going to be Growlithe, Magnemite, and Shellder. Got 'em bred and EV trained and waiting to be Banked over for level training.

Not sure what the other 3 will be yet, nor the teams for my (minimum) other 3 copies.

I can fully understand breeding your next team but pee hatching it and EV training it? Games already too easy and now you've got competitive bred ex trained Pokemon that are traded so they get bonus exp. All you gotta do is turn in exp share and boom. Easiest play through ever.

My rule is exclusively new Pokemon for first games, and Pokemon with interesting abilities or typings for remakes, especially those I haven't previously been able to use during a game's single player because of availability or their useful ability being hidden or whatever.

Ive played SMT and the grind gets sooo boring. The characters arent memorable and the demons themselves are hit or miss. So its exactly like pokemon but with an unnecessary level of grinding required for progression and an art style that isnt my cup of tea.

Not really the type that plans my team out ahead of time. But since I don't really like any of the starters too much, I'm breeding a regular and alolan vulpix on Sun for double weather tag team shenanigans. Plus that just seems like a cool way to start a new game.

i don't say that to be a dick or to get (You)s or because of bantz or anything. I used those pokemon and was disappointed at every fucking turn.

Primarina and Wishiwashi at least aren't too bad but Wishiwashi kind of pissed me off with the constant schooling activation
