I won't deny that postgame's a nice feature to have, but it's pretty overrated as a concept, since there's more to Pokemon than just fighting an AI with a 3v3 level 50 ruleset and some oddball gimmick.
It'd be disappointing if USM didn't have extra postgame, but I'm expecting it to have some. While Emerald has the Frontier, people forget that FRLG, the second games in a gen and also a remake, also had only a tiny bit of postgame (Sevii quest is essentially going around to different islands, rematching the evil team that was supposed to disband, and doing all that just to collect a few items, kind of like the Delta Episode in ORAS), and that almost every gen-starter as a whole has lacking postgame battle content. USM seems more like a Platinum/BW2 type deal, where the second games reuse the same region, so all of the assets are there, they just need to add extras to make it nicer.
