>Immediately threatening from Preview>Literally dozens of viable sets, including setup and sweep, revenge, bulky attacker>Far bulkier than Greninja, and not borked by priority>Comes out like a flash on turn 1, or at any opportunity>Coverage for days>Actually has a surprisingly deep support movepool>Recovery>Weak to 3 types, of which 1 is pointless, one is a big deal, and 1 is redundant>Resistant to 3 types, of which 1 is pointless, and one is big news>Has Psystrike>Psystrike on Psychic Terrain lmao +1 252 SpA Mewtwo Psystrike vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Celesteela in Psychic Terrain: 202-238 (50.7 - 59.7%) -- 85.9% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery (Boost represents either Calm Mind or Specs, running Modest guarantees the 2HKO)Ashninja
>Literally a load on the team until it gets a KO. Players will make bad plays to preserve Ashninja>Has to get a KO to even be on-par, and is frequently built with this in mind over helping Ashninja>Actually ridiculously frail>Has a support movepool of Toxic>Good coverage, limited slightly by what it needs to secure a KO as Greninja>Once it has transformed, it can basically only revenge or clean, since it couldn't set up if it wanted to and can't take a hit>If Water Shuriken can't KO it, it is devestated by priorityAshninja is a good pokemon, but it's a good pokemon that fits a role, and has a drawback.
Mewtwo, much like most of the Auto-Ubers crowd, not only rivals Ashninja in what it was literally built to do exclusively, but has a full, non-minmaxed build supporting it. Mewtwo can mindgame the fuck out of someone without ever using a move. Mewtwo is Ashninja with bulk, recovery, better Meta support, and a fuckheug movepool of shit it can actually use, let alone if we include the mind-fuckery level meme options it has.
These aren't its good moves, though it has plenty. These are its meme moves: Psych Up, Me First, Disable, Magic Coat, Taunt, Trick, Dive, and Role Play.
