It would've made perfect sense to move back to the directer's cut model if they'd ported it to the Switch since it can't play 3DS games unlike every other new handheld which could play the old ones at least in some variant but on the 3DS alone makes no sense.
Also, inb4 some retard says they have never jumped systems mid-Gen ignoring the fact that Crystal required the GBC when the others could be played on the original and many likely did.
