There. Try to buff Ice defensively. If you buff it offensively, you will be only helping Pokemon that use it as coverage

Regardless Water and Ice should resist eachother. Because of pick related, and the fact ice types are constant sources of cold like a fridge rather than literal ice cubes bar shit like Cryogenal.
But, a ground and maybe fairy resist would be enough. As well as the 50% defense in Hail

There. Ground goes from a +1 to a 0, Ground goes from a +2 to a +1, and Water goes from 0 to a -1.

Ice doesn't resist water and shouldn't.

test it yourself. take an ice cube and rinse it in the sink and see how quickly it dissolves.

well grass hits water and ground for SE damage, which are some of the best types in the game
despite it's many resisted hits, grass tends to be a fairly decent coverage type

I think with ice and water, they should either be neutral to each other or resist each other...in any case, it should be mutual
