There's nothing to defend, really. No Power Gem and no Aurora Veil (which are both key features of its design!!) is unacceptable. There's no plausible reason that it can't learn those moves. I mean, it wouldn't save it from being destroyed before it can do anything, but still!

Don't worry anon, it does. I just find it ironic that sheer force and mold breaker, both abilities arguably way better than rock head, don't boost the rock head move of the rock head pokemon without the rock head ability in any way whatsoever.
