You can't do raid battles teamless? Are you sure? Have you tried? They take place at gyms, but they aren't themselves gym battles, so I'd think it would be possible.

And I couldnt care less because after over a year I finally have a Growlithe to call my own. Saw the shadow of one exactly a year ago around the same place but I was in a restaurant, finally managed to grab one a year later.

It's fucking shit (44%) but I'm going to pump the fucker up anyway because he's my special little guy.

Today is the day I learned that Pokemon is not about min-maxing, but bonding with your Pokemon no matter how weak and flawed.

I'm level 40. Have all gold medals except for raiding. Have a few gym gold medals too. Currently completed the dex with all obtainable Pokemon. Even have a living dex of all the unowns. I keep playing to keep all the gyms in my area blue and because it's fun to do when there's nothing else.

Not really, gyms move fast here. Today I got 12 coins. But every so often I'll find somewhere that sticks around for a while and get 50 a day. I never got more than 10 per day before the new gym format, so it's not like I'm much of a coin farmer or anything. I make enough to do occasional purchases, nothing more.

Go to the most recent raid and wait, if a crowd comes then you talk to them and get in contact for the future, and obviously stick with them for the rest of the day
If no one comes, you're fucked desu

Anyone from Tampa Bay actually raid or is it all spoofers? I was in Largo Central Park today doing loops because it's a machop nest and the gyms kept changing with no one near them.

Went to the beach, lots of Articuno and Lugia raids pop but no one shows up to any of them.
I work so tomorrow is out, gonna try again after 5pm the last few hours before it reverts to normal.

Hopefully you can use regular raid passes if they pop after tomorrow night

You need 3 devices

if you max out your pokemon at trainer level 37, they'll be 38.5

You only ever get one more power up at 38. Meaning the max is level 39 (+.5 level/power up)

If you login to 3 devices, select the same pokemon on each, make sure you have 42 candies and lots of dust; turn 2 devices onto airplane mode; on the one connected to internet power it up then turn that device onto airplane mode or quit the game; on device 2, turn off airplane mode and click the button, then turn off internet; repeat for device 3

What youre doing is:
Device 1: 1 power up equals pokemon level 38.5 to 39
Device 2: 39 to 39.5
Device: 39.5 to 40

I get the basics, for it to work the gps spoofer app has to be moved to system storage, which is only done by rooting, but then it needs to be unrooted, and then go checks for mock location turned on or not so you have to turn mock location on, but then the gps spoofer app needs mock location on right? so how do I get around that? What gps spoofer apk lets me run it with mock locations disabled?

Still, time-gated pokemon would be fine as stuff you cant leave in gyms if it was good stuff, but it isnt.

Is a max co lugia (2900 - 3020cp?) even 1/2 as big a problem as a max co blissey? I seriously doubt it.

No to either/both of those. In neither case will you have any trouble taking them down. If anything, I think adding time-gated content that is not that strong is good balance, You can feelk good about having and/or using it, but if you don't have one, you are not automatically gimped.

That's why, I dont get why we can't leave them in gyms.

What, you think a 2900 - 3000cp lugia is gonna be anything but a speed bump to a 3600cp tyranitar as it eats through a gym? and a 2870 - 2900 articuno? please don't make me laugh.

I like that them, I just think there's no real (good) reason to leave them out of gyms.

If they do the same with slacking, I will applaud their insight, but with these guys? I cant really see the point

My 3000 Lugia in the pic is only powered to level 30. I can currently max it out at 3225 CP. I only powered it up because I knew it would hit an even 3000.

But yeah pretty lame that it can't be placed in gyms. It's not that powerful
