The next generation game has a region based on Chile
>Diverse natural landscape (Desert, forest, ocean, mountains, a city, etc.)
>Mines, facilities, ghost towns, dunes, caves, islands and more types of dungeons.
>Earthquakes
>Condor flying type legendary Pokemon
>Huemul Ground type Legendary Pokemon
>Moai Legendary type Pokemon
>Caleuche Water/Ghost legendary Pokemon
>Pokemon based on folk tales, and real flora and fauna
Problems with this idea
>Linear as fuck unless and earthquake forced you to go through sea to get to the southern part of the region
>Almost no water routes, maybe a river or two and some optional seashore routes
>Ice types are once again relegated to the lategame unless you go through a mountain or do the whole go to the south first.
What do you guys think ? How would you improve it?
I thought of this after looking at Kalos again and noticing how stupid it is to have a random patch of desert in the middle of a grassy region,
