New York City =/= upstate NY. Growing up I know some people tried to keep little vegetable gardens in their 100sq foot backyards but finding patches of fertile soil that isn't full of dogshit and already dominated by a maple would be tough.

Why is it that as the internet and hardware have gotten more advanced, the global link has devolved to next to nothing?
I feel like it hit its perfect form with XY, when you didn't need to use it for anything but it was encouraged and paid off to do so. Be it with the mile trade ins at discounts and the little trainer journal with pictures and stuff.
