Its a Z-ring and it has a crystal so its probaly a Z-crystal but it has a werid shape

I think its probably just a special Z-Crystal for a special Z-move for Necrozma-leo (its golden like the Ultra Sun mascot). More than likely there's another lightblue one for Necrozma-nala

Also, the z-ring sports a new downward part, which probably means nothing more but still is unprecedented. Ula-ula model did not had this.

Id be very surprised if this is anything more than just a fancier design and usage specially for Necrozma (just like Rayquaza doesnt need any stones to mega evolve) but you never know

He's clearly twisting it towards an upward pointing arrow, indicating an increase in something.

I believe it'll give us the ability to turn mons into what is essentially a Totem Form. The reason it's black is because it's given to you by Nanu, who trains Dark types, masters Black Hole Eclipse and has an interest in Ultra Space given his connections to Team Skull and his involvement in the SM post game. Reminder that Totem Forms supposedly get their power from ULTRA Space.

Every Pokemon gets a fixed power up, eg Incineroar gets +2 Attack etc.
Thoughts?
