There's nothing that stood out about Serena, she was just another in a long line of main girls to be replaced once their generation was over.

Reminder that literally everyone except for Ash and Pikachu are irrelevant and will be shoved aside for the next flavor of the generation, both humans and Pokemon, just like how it's been ever since Hoenn.

Fixed, Brock and Misty were practically walking scenery, and the games do the exact same thing, replacing old characters with new ones

Also, Team Rocket are main characters too, so you can toss them on that list as well.

That's BS because the Pokemon anime isn't one show, it's six different ones

Serena may not be relevant to the Sun/Moon series, but she was relevant to the XY series

They're no more irrelevant than any other character whose show ended
