What's the fucking deal with Spotlight? I spent one week building a Baneful Bunker + Spotlight team and.... SURPRISE, Spotlight doesn't work with Protected allies, but work with protected foes. WHAT THE FUCK? This move is more useless than splash.

Yeah they made a cool move, then completely fucked it up in every way

It should have worked like acupressure, targeting either yourself or your ally, and should have been able to target protected allies as long as they weren't using protect/detect or other moves that block status moves
