I don't think I've ever seen anyone seriously request for more waifu pandering and I've never seen anyone claim they weren't buying a game because their waifu wasn't in it. Yes, there has been more waifu pandering in recent games with Yancy, Shauna, May, and Lillie but only one of those brought the game down, and that was more because of bad storytelling and not waifu pandering. The type of waifufags that post is talking about, ones that want nothing but fanservice and won't buy a game if it doesn't have it, don't really apply here.
