Dugtrio-Alola lost speed and Arena Trap
Exeggutor-Alola has no benefits over its normal form and gets fucked by the best type in the game, fairies
Golem-Alola sucks like regular Golem
Persian-Alola is the same story
So is Raichu-Alola, Raticate-Alola, and Sandslash-Alola
Also, Sandslash-Alola fell for the slow, frail Ice type meme

It gets Dragon STAB(walled by less types than Psychic) + Fire coverage. Its already better than the base form.

Better than being a Psychic type. And I see little fairies willing to switch into a STAB Leaf Storm. And under Grassy Terrain, it has even fewer Fairy switch-ins. It also gets Sludge Bomb too, but LS does more damage unless you need to hit stuff like Togekiss.

Heck, the only merit to even use the base form is if you need a Chlorophyll abuser. The Alola counterpart has better type coverage otherwise.

The same could be said about Kanto Exeggutor and Dark and Bug types. And both Exeggutor forms learn Trick Room, so speed isn't that much of a problem.

I didn't know something currently ranked at B- on Smogon's OU viability rankings defined the meta. It is a niche choice.

Even in UU (different meta with different threats and viabilities) Alolan Ninetales doesn't fare much better.

It should effect a different range of pokemon. Like anything that can SE hit steel can switch out because so it covers a different niche for dugtrio to revenge kill

Retard. Setting up Trick Room for yourself and not your teammates is no different from setting up Agility. While Exeggutor does benefit in a Trick Room team, it doesn't need to be in a dedicated Trick Room team to utilize Trick Room.

That's retarded though. TR has a timer, so it only stays up for a couple of turns. Moves like SD stay as long as the Pokemon stays or if something like Unaware comes into game. TR is shit in singles too, with the amount of switches you need to make.
