Next is Water. Gen VIII male protagonist will get the Gen VIII Water starter, or there will be a new guy for USUM who will have Primarina, and Gen VIII guy will get the Grass starter.
The female protagonist has whichever starter is weak to the male protagonist's starter, so they technically go in a Water > Grass > Fire pattern.
