Sorry that I'm spanning my art for a while. It's just I'm following your suggestions on giving my characters more flavor to their designs and more realistic anatomy. Here's a WIP of Knieva. Say something to her.

You really need to understand how to create the illusion of volume and other fundamentals. Have some resources. Your head construction is off.

Only her belt looks like it might be somewhat related to pokemon, i like her hair, i suggest you add something to her design that makes her look more like a pokemon character, something that stands out more than the belt buckle, maybe even make her look kinda like one ?

Elaborating on the head construction: her eye are way too low. Realistically eye are at the 1/3 mark of the face, but instead yours are between 1/2 and 1/3 and end on her cheek. Way too low. Addtionally, your eye placement doesn't take the direction of the the face as a whole into account. Instead it looks pasted on.

This is good! I think for now it would be best to focus more so on proportions and how you format everything, I think some work on the head and practicing torsos and joints will help a lot! Your colors are fun too but never be afraid to break out of your comfort zone anon! Keep it up!

There's too many stars, makes her design look too busy. Try shaving off most of the extraneous details and add some of the blue from her helmet into her outfit. Also I think she should be wearing the helmet instead of holding it.
