I didn't play any of the gen 2 or 4 games so I thought the evolution lines of Gligar, Miltank, Octillery, Lucario, Croagunk, Stunky, Starly, and Yanma were all introduced in XY because I hadn't seen them in any of the other games I'd played. I also thought Sylveon, Leafeon, and Glaceon were introduced alongside each other using the stats in amie for evolution
