This trailer was released four months before BW2's released. It had new trainers, new towns, new gimmicks, it showcased pretty much entirely new stuff.
We're three months away from USM's released and we have a forme that's literally just a recolor with parts from a different model slapped on.
If you want /vp/ to be excited about the new games then Game Freak needs to show us that the new games won't be complete fucking trash like the rest of Gen 6 and 7.

News is already starting to come out. I'm sorry Lycanroc wasn't enough for you but news has always started out slow before blowing up. Don't worry they'll reveal everything in the game so you can cry about that after it comes out.

My problem wasn't that they revealed everything in SM, it was that they seemingly didn't reveal anything due to how much stuff was seemingly still there only to find out the reason it looked like they only revealed half the Dex was because the game only had a half-sized Dex. My problem with SM is that it has fuck-all for content (that and it has way too many fucking cutscenes to the point that I can't enjoy the content that is there but that's beside the point). USM is shaping up to be another SM, and they're probably intentionally creating such a long news drought because they don't have fucking anything to show.

More than Gen 6 had and probably about the same amount Gen 8 will have. They're slowing done because they don't want to reach 1000.

I'm sure I'm going to be disappointed in Gen 8, yes. Game Freak can't fucking do anything right these days, why would they suddenly turn around next generation? Only difference will be that you're forced to pay $20 a year to access the game's online meta once it moves to the Switch.

Holy fuck someone with his head screwed on right. The only reason we got this "reveal" is because Ash will soon have this doggo and people would get confused. They're just showing it to be in USUM so kids who play the games aren't like "Nani!? Where can I gettu disu formu?"

They didn't even make a deal out of it. We would have gotten a mini trailer with the pokemon team blaring in the background while Dusk Lycanroc gets revealed like how most mons were announced leading up to S/M.

People really need to calm the fuck down.

Considering OP didn't say anything about his opinion of Lycanroc's design and was merely complaining about people's overreaction to it in regards to what it could mean for the quality of the game, I don't know why you assume either he or anyone agreeing with him is defending the design.
