Almost twenty years later and these games are still the most ambitious Pokémon games out there. No matter what you think of them, even if you hate GSC, the scope of the game and what they tried to do with it is still the objectively largest yet.

What happened? Why did Game Freak lose all their motivation and passion for the series?
