Red is the Champion that really matters from Game Freak's perspective which means it is who should matter from our perspective because as the developers, they're the ones who set all of these things, not the idiots who play.
This is why HG/SS is as good as they are and why OR/AS can't compete. Not only did they have the extended main story, they went ahead and included the post game things from the Gen 4 games and threw in a bunch from Yellow, Crystal, and new stuff.
Meanwhile 99% of the Delta Episode is primarily an information fetch quest to a bunch of places you'd already been. And not just once in most cases as you're forced to go back and forth between a couple of them multiple times.
But I digress, Platinum is only harder for retards who pretend half of HG/SS isn't part of the game when it is.
