Yes since XY for the main game I don't evolve most of my pokemon to add more challenge and because I prefer the unevolved forms more.

Well I don't know whether this counts or not but earlier this year I played couple gengar solo runs and if you know anything about gastly line it gets jack shit if you don't have any egg moves, which I didn't. And even then you had to find TMs to make it good. So, it was pain in the ass.

I had a Nidorina on my team in one of my FireRed runs and beat the E4 without evolving her. That's pretty much it.

Turn off exp share

never use items during battle
