Giving them insta-terrains means the best counter for the terrain is each other, because otherwise you need to run a terrain move and risk getting KO'd by having to switch in on a terrain boosted move and then get hit again trying to set up terrain if you're outsped. They should have given those abilities to regular mons for balancing like Ninetales and Politoed getting the Weather abilities, instead of giving them to pokemon that are already strong without them. The weirdest part is that they also introduced Terrain Extender and Z-Terrain moves for buffs to the terrain moves in the same gen.
The only one I like beyond "meh" is Fini. Also, Lele's animal when it folds up is a snail, but it's got 95 Speed? What?
