if you look at the 1 desert in Alola (Haina Desert), it's right in between a snowy mountain and a volcano, so the Sandshrew and Sandslash didn't really have much of a choice

Well there are too many predators on the beach (including a fucking soul-stealing ghost pit), and burrowing into a volcano is a bad idea, so that just leaves one other source for soil/homes.

I so want this to be real, but everything is pointing towards it being fake right now. But I would love another grass/ground or grass/ice mon. It would probably be grass/ground tho, I'm guessing.

We need more non-legendary, non-mega grass mons in OU anyway. So if this is real, they'd better make it good.
