How is Dusk Lycanroc different from Togepi? Togepi was a somewhat special Pokémon given to a main character in the anime ahead of its debut in the games. Lycanroc is the same way; unless Ash-Greninja, there's no indication Dusk Lycanroc was developed just for the anime
