Actually I'm hyped because a 3rd version has never been bad before, I enjoyed SM and am excited to see how it can be improved on. Plus I still have faith in Gamefreak.

New Pokemon mid generation sounds like cancer.

I don't hate or like the game though, I'm just waiting for it to actually come out so I can make judgement. All I really want are new forms be it Regional or Mega or some other shit, and a good Frontier. I don't expect any of my problems with SM to be fixed, they're too deeply ingrained.

I honestly doubt Gamefreak cares that much. If they introduce new Pokemon, they'll just be classified as Alola Pokemon like all of the others introduced this gen.

Game Freak doesn't see it that way considering they introduce new event Pokemon mid-gen all the time. We see it in the code but we aren't supposed to know about it.
