I think only the fact that he has the same game model of midday makes you think that is just a recolor cuz the official artwork doesn't look the same exact thing (atleast to me)

Both the anime form and the ones on the artwork are pretty cool. You can tell the head and snout are different. The ingame model is lazy as fuck.

They're literally not. You're seeing different angles and off-model inconsistencies in the show. They're exactly the same apart from color and mane.

He's right. Alternate evolutions are separate Pokemon in the dex, like Eevees, Hitmons, Polifrogs, etc. Lycanroc is one mon with multiple forms.

What you're describing is not their idle animation
An idle animation is the "basic" animation when they just stand there and do nothing.
and as you can see in the reveal video, the idle animation and pose is the very same
