Then there's the bullshit about either retooling the NA/EU version to allow for it as well if they go through with that because giving online multiplayer to Japan but not the west would be unfair, or just retooling the JP version to have the NA/EU changes that make certain things occur without the Mobile Adapter. But besides the Sin & Punishment translation, VC releases never change that much in the game itself. Most they do is change some flags, like just needing a Pikachu to play Pikachu's Beach in Yellow, or just entering the Network menu in MMBN games dropping event chips in your pack.
Also, South Korea never got Crystal, but did get GS. Further equality issues.
