>>33278815>>33278820I agree with both of these.
Serebii's is simple and reliable, but doesn't always flow well. That being said, despite the ugly color scheme, and setup, the information IS very clear and easy to follow when it comes to stuff that matters more (like pokemon stats, locations, etc..). Certain aspects are incomplete, like filtering for TCG info, and the site is unnecessarily long because of all the random spin off games cluttering the side, which could easily be relegated to its own page(s).
Bulbapedia, however, does the opposite. They split their information up neatly in their own side pages... for a lot of side stuff. The main pages are cluttered as fuck with unnecesarry information. Pokemon pages, for instance, have a useless "Biology" section which consists of just a simple physical description of the pokemon. They list a ton of side game bullshit like their sayings in Pokemon Dungeon or whatever. The info that IS relevant, like their sprites or type matchup chart is unnecessarily bulky, taking up WAY too much space. The pages and worthy info could literally be cut down to a sixth of what it actually is, and still contain all the relevant info. It's an eyesore.
Meanwhile, they dont even have a nice, image reference gallery for the pokemon, showcasing official art, reference images, potential beta designs, and models.
That being said, Bulbapedia has a lot of their other pages setup nicely. I like their Route and town maps a lot better. I find it very easy to navigate.
