What is your favorite "aquatic creature living in sand" Pokemon? What other animals do you think would apply well to this concept?

It's hard to pick a favorite, but I'd probably say Krookodile > Hippowdon > Garchomp

Sand squid or sea serpent would be cool, or especially more of a plesiosaur for the latter. If there were a Lapras native to some non-Kanto region that adapts to a desert that'd be cool.

Garchomp for me, because while they're all great, Garchomp does the most with changing up the animal to match the environment while Krookodile is just a robber croc and Hippowdon is just a holey sand hippo.
I'd love to see a sand-squid; cliche, obviously, but it would be pretty cool.

It's almost like one is a biped while the other is a quadruped

And no, it's based on the gharial which can reach up to 20 feet (though this is rare and most are 11-15 feet)
