They need to update Kecleon so it actually changes color when hit with an attack, and remains that color after battle. Therefore if you let it get hit with a poison attack it would change into the purple Kecleon.

The Power of One was first released in Japan in July 17, 1999.
Pokemon Silver was first released in Japan in November 21, 1999.
Therefore, Lugia appears first in the anime.

Yes, it's a shame. It could be it's own secret type or something. Maybe that would be too far...
But I would like it.
I also wish the would have made onix's stats better. Like have Onix and Steelix have the same base stat total, but divide it up better.
I hate that Onix is a giant rock serpent, but is weak AF

Both canons aren't compatibe either. Not only their leagues work differently but also each game MC dealt with their villain team while in the ashnime Ash and his friends did(except Team Rocket obviously). They will never be the same world.

What I mean is that there's a possibility that there's an Anime Ash which is the one we know, and a Game Ash that is totally different from the other one. Like when there was pre timeskip Bianca and post timeskip Tcheren in Bw (Even though I blame that on shitty writting)

If you're incapable of processing the concept that the pokemon franchise has different mediums that are cross promoted then you can think that. But this other Ash isn't the same you see in the show, we don't see him in leagues, nor getting involved with legendaries or defeating the evil teams. For all intents and purposes its a different character that happens to be called Ash and has a Greninja. Not to mention that under that logic, as seen in https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_notable_ID_numbers there's also a Shokotan and Ray Rizzo version in the games.

Technically speaking, the anime doesn't have seasons. What it has are series. OS, AG, DP, BW, XY, and SM are all separate shows.

Because the word season is never used at all in Japanese, only for the English dub

I.E. In the west, TPC refers to Sun/Moon as Season 20, but in Japan, it's the sixth series.

"Season" is misleading as it implies that there's some sort of overarching continuity between them, when each one (at least from BW onwards) is treated more like a soft reboot, with a new cast of characters save for Ash, Pikachu, and Team Rocket.

But there is, Ash carries over his pokemon from previous seasons, and everything he did still counts.
