The japenese trailer shows in the vulpix scene some pokemon in cages, while the english version of the trailer ,the same scene is showed but without the pokemon in the cages

What if is a sort of sidequest where you have to rescue some injured pokemon?
There's no pokemon in the cage because is the first you rescue.
There's some in cages because you already rescue them.

It specifically states that this specific pokemon is more related to plants than it is to animals, one specific pokemon not being closely related to animals is no proof that pokemon are not animals, quite the opposite you idiot, it implies it still is related to animals, just not as closely related as it is to plants, your own image proves that you are wrong.
