Regular should be Dragon too.

Leaf Blade as a signature wasn't that good in Gen III (70 BP).

Shallow movepool. Having to rely on Focus miss to hit Steel types.

Could have a better HA, specially compared to Blaziken's.

Design-wise, the yellow blobs are ugly. No need for those.

Mega fixed it in my opinion. But still isn't a top tier Mega, so it stays in UU. Sceptile was born for UU.

even the foot claws are green. not even a different tone.
arm leaves are worse than grovyle's

mega is 10/10 design wise imo

Fast, frail Grass sweeper is a shitty idea to begin with since Grass is an awful offensive type. And unlike most other Grass types it's support movepool is abysmal (doesn't even learn Sleep Powder).

Mostly the fact that, despite being Special-based mon, it has a lot better physical movepool (along with great boosting move in Swords Dance), while having very bare-bones special movepool.
