When you think about it, we haven't had a real 'third version' since Platinum, since BW2 was a sequel. So what happened with Platinum?

- Legendary birds and Regis are obtainable

- Distortion World
- revamped Battle Frontier
- Gym Leader rematch house

- Looker added to the game
- Charon added to the bad guy team

- Move Tutors
- expanded bad guy storyline
- graphical updates and tweaks
- changed order of battling Gyms

Will USUM follow a similar pattern? Are Carrotroc and the Necrozma forms the sumtotal of the new pokemon added? Will Colress have a bigger part to play? Will the order of Trials be changed?
