Theory time:
Guzma and Kahili have both the same battle pose
Guzma has a bunch of broken Golf clubs and silver and bronze trophies (the game emphasis in the fact that none of them are golden)
And his following line of dialog:
>You wanna know what I do when some machine messes up? The first thing I do is give it a nice hard smack!"
"I mean, most of the time I smash it to pieces, but hey, what can you do? Now let's see if I can't fix you!"

This hints that when he gets frustated he stars breaking, smashing stuff

He broke those clubs as a result of losing against Kahili in more of one time,
Kahili being a rich kid and he having an agresive father may have helped to build Guzma's personality
