This is probably the biggest reason I can see them bring back all of them this time, as well as the rest of the national dex,

Especially since they implied that Gen 8 is a little ways away and may not come out in 2018, while they develop Gen 8 for Switch in 2019, they'll wanna have every mon available for 2018 and 2019's competitions

They actually made us catch Tapu Koko,Tapu Fini,Tapu Bulu,Tapu Lele, Every Ultra Beast and the cover legend
Catching Legendaries isnt something GF is gonna abandon totally

They won't. The reason there's no national dex in sun and moon is because you won't be able to get all the pokemon with just the gen 7 games.

National Dex is gonna be in USUM

They mentioned in the reveal trailer that there are gonna be more mons avaliable in game, and the guidebook is over 120 pages longer compared to SM, and in the Gameinformer interview they mentioned they like to keep all pokemon obtainable in every generation to let new and modern players get them all

The only reason it was gone in the first place was probably because it was just rushed for time and now we're getting everything as intended

I seriously doubt all non mythical pokemon are going to be in Alola. Maybe in the next remake plus these two games, but that would be an insane amount of new pokemon for a third version
