I mean the Seamitars are never going to fit in its sleeve-scabbards, they grow when Samurott unsheathes them. I don't think it's far from truth to assume that Samurotts would modify their blades to suit their style.
Anyway, to stay somewhat relevant I think typings for these guys should be something like this:
Fire/Rock, only because Emboar was in a rocky area in Pokepark2
Grass/Poison, cause it's a snek
Water/Ice or Steel Because it's an armored bloody sea lion dual wielding swords.
