Dodrio got a big buff this generation with a boost in speed, Swords Dance and Knock Off, it's doing a lot better than last generation
Ditto always gets a place in Smogon's viability rankings, no matter what tier it is.
TPP gave the Omanyte and Omastar a big popularity boost
Zapdos is sitting pretty strongly in OU, it and Starmie are only looking at having missed out in one generation each.
Dragonite isn't doing quite as well as last generation, but it's still a force to be reckoned with thanks to Z-Moves.
