Ice was the only type without a specialist trainer in Pokémun and Pokémoon. This is because Lillie is going to be an Ice trainer, and also champion of Alola.

Alolan Ninetales is already useable.

Aurora Veil makes it a very common lead for Hyper Offense teams, and it also shits on rain teams.

USM aren't sequels. It's one of the only things that's actually confirmed about them.

What if you could upload a team from Sun and Moon that you could fight as a title defense in USUM? Maybe even friends teams could battle you, kinda like secret base teams from ORAS?

I'm pretty sure they've outright stated that USUM isn't going to be a sequel.

However, significant changes to the plot wouldn't surprise me. A Platinum-style third version would be cool. Or they pull off something completely new and it's an alternate story.
