Does so much of vp live in flyover country? I can't throw a stone and hit at least 2 gamestops for like 2 years my mall even had two of them as one was in the process of selling down its merchandise after it was converted from an eb games

You do realize the Magearna QR was just to activate an in-game event already programmed in the game?

Of course WiFi would be more convenient than more GameStop bullshit, but QRs actually distributing pokemon into your game isn't something that actually exists. Only with a custom made homebrew patch.

It also prevents you from just bringing all your game carts. I remember in Gen 4 when you could bring DPPtHGSS and get 5 of each of the events. I'm guessing that's why they changed it up.
