It is lead by Action Arms: a trainer who airs his battles on TV and in huge stadiums. His best Pokémon is his Incineroar who seems to be unstoppable; in fact his Incineroar tends to beat his foes in one or two hits with spectacular results because he pays his opponents beforehand to make himself seem like more and more of a big deal. The grunts of team action tend to dress like wrestlers and action heroes and have teams that are primarily composed of fighting, dark, and electric types. Team Action has 3 admins: Big Bomb(An enormous man who dresses in a leotard and has a team mainly comprised of huge Pokémon with heavy slam), Thad Thunder(Basically Duke Nukem with an explosion obession), and Sophia Steel(An egotistical starlet who has a team of Pokémon that are as glimmering and sparkly as possible to flaunt her ego)
The team's aspiration is to make as much money as possible and become extremely famous. Eventually you will fight Action Arms during one of his shows and defeat him; sending him into a fit of anger. He'll later gain the opposing box legend in hopes of becoming unbeatable. You beat him though... the end.
