You pirate the game, and contrary to your expectations, you actually really enjoy the game. You get hundreds of hours of enjoyment from a game you stole because you wanted it to fail.
Either one of these is pathetic. The only justification I can possibly see is if you're sceptical about the game so get it for free to see if you want to buy a copy later, but even then, you could just check out some reviews or YouTube footage.
